Hi, Thank you so much for the hard and value -adding work you have done to propose these tools. After buying the Emotional Intelligence Master Class, I have just bought the PP Toolkit. You like metaphors and so do I. If I had to choose one or two now to express my gratitude I would say I feel like Alice in Wonderland (with much more structure than in Wonderland ;-)) or I feel like a gold minor who would have found the biggest gold deposit he was looking after for years. Talking about metaphors, I have a question for you. I’m doing quite a lot of sketch noting and I have “transformed” (prototype) the sailboat metaphor into a dynamic tool (difficult to explain) to be used in coaching. I would like to know first if I’m allowed to do that, mentioning the sources of course and, if so, if you would allow me to post a positive article on LinkedIn showing the tool and the approach…and the source of PP. Thank you for your answer. Kindest regards
Hi Veronique,
So glad you have found value in our toolkit ๐ To answer your question, please take a look at our terms of use statement for guidelines on how the materials can be used and reproduced.

Hi Veronique, thanks for your kind words! You can use the sailboat metaphor in your own work, in workshops, etc., but you are not allowed to re-sell it as a new product. Also, please bear in mind that the sailboat metaphor is a model that was designed with a clear purpose and vision. Modifications to the metaphor alter the initial idea of the sailboat metaphor and I would kindly ask you to not publish any modifications to the metaphor. Of course, you can use and modify the sailboat metaphor in your own work, but I would rather not see different versions of the metaphor on the web. I hope you respect my choice!
Hi Nicole and Hugo, thank you for your answers that I see…today. I understand and respect your choice, as well as the purpose and vision of the metaphor and, so will keep using it during workshops and coaching sessions. I won’t make any promotion of it on the web. For the time being, I only promote Positive Psychology ToolKit as a great ressource to my consultants/coaches community. Waiting for the October update…Kindest regards
Thanks for your understanding and good luck with your work!
Hi, I loved how you put together, not only the new tools, but also the great introduction video. You hit the mark every time! Well done…
Thanks, Lee, I really appreciate your words!
All your tools are so helpful. Thank you for caring and making them available.
Thanks for your feedback, Angela! It’s because of feedback like yours that we find the energy and motivation to keep doing what we do ๐
Thank you for your work! I truly find it so valuable! Iยดm very glad that I made the investment. I can feel your truthful interest in helping us help others!
You’re welcome, Dana. Yes, it has been Seph’s and my goal from the beginning to help you help others. Without a genuine drive to do so, it’s simply impossible to keep up. You have to have something larger than yourself to stay motivated in challenging times, at least, that’s what I have noticed ๐
Thank you for alerting us to the Toolkit updates! I’ve found this resource to be so valuable… I’m really glad I made the investment!
That’s great to hear, Denise! Never hesitate to ask for a request or advice. We want to make this community as valuable as possible.
Thank you very much Hugo. I will be putting some of these new tools to use pretty quickly! I appreciate you and your organization. All the best.
Nice to hear that you are planning to use them soon. I would love to hear your thoughts on the tools, so please don’t hesitate to share your opinion below the tool. Thanks and take care!
These are great especially in current times of COVID19. Thanks for your dedication
Thanks, Karen, it’s our mission to help as many people as possible during these challenging times!
Fantastic! The toolkit has been such a great investment. And the new tools look great. I will be using the 60 second value pitch in a workshop I’m running for a sales team next week. Perfect!
Cool, I would love to know how it went. Any feedback is welcome. Please feel free to share you experiences below the tool, thanks!
This is very helpful, thank you
Great to hear, thanks!
Brilliant! Thank you very much for your continuous hard work and dedication!
You’re welcome!
Thank you- I have been curious when you would add some new tools! I am frankly just a bit disappointed that not all of them are actually new…
Hi Janina, what do you mean? Are there any duplicates? Please note that we update the toolkit every month with 5 new tools. This is a summary of all the additions during the past three months.
Regarding your disappointment: The creation of a tool takes a lot of time. This includes background research, writing, feedback from experts, a round of professional editing, graphic design, and web design. Many tools take over 40 hours to complete. We work incredibly hard with a lot of people to keep the toolkit updated and of the highest quality.
Thank you so much for the new tools!
You’re most welcome! I hope you will enjoy them!
